Mill House Conversion
This is one of our own developments on the outskirts of Dalrymple. It started life as a redundant farm mill. The whole building was stripped out and cleaned up prior to the works starting. The building was split into a semidetached dwelling over two storeys. The design includes a sunken patio to the rear with glass balustrade.
The design utilised the existing openings where possible to retain the rural character of the building, where new openings were required stone dressing surrounds were used to tie in with the existing building. The existing slate roof was removed and replaced with a new roof finished in natural slate. The conversion has oak hardwood finishes throughout and was finished to an exceptionally high standard.
The Mill was completed and sold in 2008.
